We had our first real snow day in over a year, and took full advantage of it. The photos are loaded in reverse order, so "read" from the bottom up. We began with a dog walk, which quickly became just Mom and Dad, as the kids took off to play at the Siglers when we heard them in their yard walking by. We took Piper up to Chinquapin, where she got to run off-leash with a whole bunch of other Key Drive dogs. It was good socializing for her and neighbor-meeting for us. Then it was home for a fire, where we were eventually joined by Evelyn for cocoa, snuggling, and Roblox. In the afternoon, we walked up to VTS for some serious sledding with the Siglers. Soooooo many runs up and down the hill, and Evelyn now fully committed to trying roller coasters at our next amusement park. Then home for pizza and a show, and the chance to watch the fox scramble in the snow (and listen to his loud cries) from the warmth of our house. All in all, a long, fun day in the snow.
