Just kidding! Max wasn't a cross dresser today, he was just wearing some of Mommy's old overalls from when she was a baby. So cute - how can you not just adore a baby in corduroy overalls?! Looking at the red protector-man hanging on the wall from Mommy's Nana's house. Max is always intrigued by him.

Woohoo, Momma got a nice camera for Christmas! Max had a wonderful day celebrating with his family. He got lots of wonderful treats - thank you all for being so generous!

I mean, could we possibly find him cuter? Obvi not!

Pulling Himself Up

Max pulled himself up for the first time this weekend. He got a new standing table as an early Christmas present, and has been having so much fun with it! We have to stand right behind him because he hasn't quite figured out that if he lets go or gets off-balance he falls over. But so long as he's standing, he's a happy camper!

Cute as a Candy Cane

Max got all dressed up to meet Santa this weekend! The meeting went very well - Max was brilliant and did not make a single fuss, just smiled at us and at Santa and had a great time. I'll scan the Santa picture later, but here are some pre-Santa pics:

Splish Splash I was taking a bath

Max l-o-v-e-s bath time. He moves all over that whale of a tub and sees what he can see! He likes to play with the fish toy, which makes little waterfalls when Daddy uses it. Max can't seem to figure out that eating the fish will not make the water fall out of it!

Mommy, obviously, has great taste in clothes for Max. She especially loves to find seasonally appropriate clothing with Max's name on it.

Mommy's favorite site for these things had a 'customer cutie' contest, and whoever submitted the cutest pic of their baby or child in one of their outfits won a free shirt. Max won!

So yes, fans of Max, it is true and we are not all biased - Max IS the cutest baby in the world!

Max and Wise Owl

Max discovered Wise Owl (or Brown Owl, or Flat Owl, depending on what we remember to call him at the time) this weekend. He makes for good eats!

Star Friends

Max is getting very good at eating his Star Friends. He got 5 of them in his mouth last night and another 5 this morning. Our total successes for the month leading up to the last 24 hours was 2, so this is serious improvement! Working REALLY hard to get the Star Friend from his hand into his mouth:

Another busy Sunday

We went to church again, where Max got glowing reviews from the nursery staff for being such a sweet baby. He seems to really like being around the other kids, and the staff are so sweet that it is fun to take him! When we came home, Max took a short nap and then wanted to play allllllll afternoon. He had lots of fun. I like this one because the way the coloring turned out, it looks like a picture from when we were little: Lots of fun to be had in the Jumperoo:
