Passion for Fashion
The kids were home for two days last week for sniffles. So the stuffies put together a fashion show, and we enjoyed a celebratory, moon lit walk to Baskin-Robbins after getting the all-clear.

Evelyn started back up with tennis class Saturday morning, and the whole family headed to the courts Sunday for some fun.

Locker Girl
When I picked her up from After Care, Evelyn was excited to show off her tasteful, stylish locker. Because what really is a locker without a chandelier, rug, wallpaper, plants, photos, magnets, and souvenirs from your travels neatly displayed?!
Go Reds!
Max was thrilled that his official Reds uniform arrived Saturday, and walked into Sunday's game with confidence and a great attitude. He had some RBIs, scored some runs, made some plays at catcher and shortstop, and generally had a great time and game. Plus we all enjoyed the family pizza party afterwards! Reds are 2-0 headed into our first away game next weekend.
Go Mom!
Mom ran the (18 months delayed) Cherry Blossom 10 Miler Sunday morning. As someone on the race course said "we haven't seen a single cherry blossom. Do we get our money back?!" It was gorgeous to get to watch the sun come up over the Capitol just before the race started.
Pentagon Tower of Light
We were amazed to be able to see the faint light of the 9/11 Pentagon Tower of Light from just outside of Annapolis, and were intrigued to watch it grow stronger as we approached the city and then the building. It was a pretty amazing sight to see as we circled the Pentagon on our way home from the game.

The Bobcats are BACK, Baby!
Everyone was excited for the first day of school today. So much excitement to be back in the classroom, to be back with friends, and to start a new, fresh year. Not to mention having a MIDDLE SCHOOLER. Here's to a great school year full of fun, friends, and learning!
