75 and gorgeous in February! The kids were fantastic while we went to urgent care for my pink eye, so we had a picnic and memorial hike as a reward. WWII, Korea, and Vietnam all inspired interesting conversation.

The best was watching the I Have A Dream speech sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and then coming up with our own dreams. Unprompted, the kids dream of no wars, clean oxygen, no kids hungry or without toys, no segregation here or anywhere, everyone being treated kindly, and love for everyone. So proud of these thoughtful kiddos, who then pretended to give their own speeches on the steps.
