Ft McHenry III

Max was able to be a part of the flag-raising ceremony at Ft. McHenry.  He was most struck by how big the flag looked on the ground and how small it looked in the air.

He also enjoyed talking to a War of 1812 soldier about the differences in his uniform and a Revolutionary War soldier's.

While the boys checked out the fort, Evelyn and I checked out her new accessories.  A lady is never without her purses, glasses, and 'hello.'

Evelyn ran up to Max and said 'Mah hah' (Max hand) before grabbing his hand and walking off with him.  It melted our hearts!

After the Fort, we checked out the Baltimore Industrial Museum.  Max and I built the US map all on our own.
