Evelyn and Mom had a fun morning running the Parkway Classic. Turbo boosters and seeing Dad there to cheer us on took us for a fast finish!

A fun day for Evelyn with Scouts service project and then dance-dress shopping with Abby and Taylor. Sweet and very sill friends.

Dad Camp

After some amazing parent teacher conferences, Ian and the kids headed for a Father-Kid Camping Trip at Prince William Forest. Hiking and cookout and s’mores and more. 

 

Release day

Evelyn woke up extra early to be able to listen to The Tortured Poets Department before school, and made cookies to celebrate the release for dessert. A fun start and end to the day!

Once more, with vigor

Took advantage of Dad’s Senate staff access for one last trip to the Capitol without lines, tour guides, or frustration. It’s been fun being VIP!

Eclipse

 While we aren’t in the path of totality, we did have pretty solid coverage during the eclipse today. School threw a party at dismissal with glasses and cupcakes and extra time to hang with friends. Hooray for a special day!

Running amuck

Mom and Dad took a late-night stroll through the Senate offices, enjoying the quiet and checking out the scenes completely alone while we still can. 

 

Another week, another Opening Day

While the girls hit the White House, the boys headed to Nats Park for Opening Day. Free bucket hats and a Taylor Swift poster sighting. And  first pitch isn’t for another 15 minutes!

Evelyn last attended the Roll at 7 months old. She was much more fun to hang out with 11 years later!
