NYE 2023

Evelyn made a heck of a charcuterie board for our NYE-Eve dinner party. The next night, it was wild times in the basement enjoying our new hangout space before counting down to 2023. Cheers!

 

Abingdon

We hopped in the car right after Steve & Tricia headed to the airport to meet Papa Bates and Miss Connie in Abingdon for a few days of celebration. It was a charming town with a great regional theater, delicious food, and a fun hotel.

 

Christmas Morning Fun

The tree was fully loaded, and the gifts were right on point this year. The best part was the genuine appreciation and enthusiasm for both giving and receiving from both kids. Evelyn treated us to a charcuterie board while we awaited Ian's Christmas feast to cap off the day.

We got everything ready for the big guy's visit, then headed up to read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas before bed.
