Fancy dinner dates
We got all dolled up and headed to Jefferson's for a fancy dinner. The kids loved the chance to use their best manners - and the amazing desserts!

Girl time
While the boys went skeet shooting, we hit the salon for a manicure for Evelyn. Salmon with blue sparkles is beautiful!

Journey to the center of the earth
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Natural Bridge Caverns. Being in total darkness at the bottom of the cave was pretty neat. The tour guides insistence that the world is 4,000 years old led to some great discussions about discerning truth and the power of science over lunch.
Genetics
Evelyn loved the folk art yard sculptures at the antique shop we stopped at and insisted we take photos with all of the wares.
