Youth Today

Max is spending the weekend at Shrine Mont with the youth group. He is officially the best skier in the family!

 

Ladies' Night

We had dinner at Lena's Oasis to kick off a fun girls' night with Hairspray, milkshakes, and a wild dance party.

 

75 and sunny

We all LOVED taking advantage of the 75 degree day, even as we shuddered at the cold, cold breeze on our evening stroll.  75 at 3p, 34 at 6a the next day.  Winter is wild!

 

2/22/2022... taco TWOsday

We celebrated taco TWOsday with a special taco bar - 2 cheeses, 2 guacamoles, 2 greens, 2 salsas, 2 tortillas, and 2 types of beans.  Plus a salsa/guac/sour cream trio to serve as the zero and strawberry daiquiris to top us off.  Can you see the 2/22/2022 in the layout of the buffet?

 

Chef's Kiss

Max made an LA Dodgers-inspired dinner of Dodger Dogs, street corn, and sparkling mint lemonade, while Evelyn capped off the meal with chocolate shakes.  Delicious!

Cousin Fun

Daddy's cousin Claudia and her family came to town for a visit.  Mac and Izzy were great fun, and we enjoyed Air & Space, hide and seek, a delicious dinner, and s'mores in the fireplace to cap it off.  Fun family time!

 

Frozen Thin Mints

Evelyn, Meghan and Emilie spent 4 hours in 31-degree temps selling cookies Saturday morning.  We were frozen, but successful!

We had heart-beet salad, beef ragu over pappardelle, and a pot of chocolate fondu for dessert.  True loves!

 

Brunch Bunch

While Ian and Evelyn headed to Mia's (no pictures!), Max and I enjoyed a pre-Valentine's Day brunch at Hank's Oyster Bar.  Good food and better company.

The girls have raised over $1,800 in cookie money for our troop.  They had a ball selling Saturday, and then headed to Abby's birthday to cap off a wild time.

Rufus the class stuffie was with us for the Super Bowl.  He was sure impressed by the treats, decorations, half time show, and the final few minutes of the game!
