The family that projects together...

The capstone project for first grade is an animal research project complete with writing a book and building a diorama for the school 'zoo' later this month. Maxton was so eager to build his shark habitat that we conceived and executed the plan in the first weekend. Here's hoping we are this early on all his major projects!

Evelyn was intrigued and wanted to make a diorama of her own. She built and painted a punt boat, Mr. Gumpy, and the animals with no help (except the hot gluing!). Such a creative and clever girl.
