I lost my balance, leaned on the Pew door for support, and crashed face-first into the aisle in the midst of the opening procession. Max, walking by at the exact moment of disaster with the Canterbury Choir, just kept walking without so much as a glance back. Bruised ego, sore knees and waist, and many laughs later I'm doing just fine. The door and hinges, on the other hand, will need to be fully replaced.
