Max noticed that he wasn't able to see the screen when we went to the drive-in movies. So it was off to the optometrist and then to buy glasses. He was amazed by the sudden ability to see the world clearly. We're proud of him for self-advocating (the doctor said most kids don't recognize an issue until their vision is significantly worse) and for taking glasses in stride. As Evelyn put it, "you ARE a brain and now you look like one!"
