Aunt Syd had a poster called "Just in Case You Need an Excuse to Party" on her wall while we were growing up. It had a reason to celebrate 365 days a year. I feel like we've done an excellent job embracing that joi de vivre during corona+. Case in point: tonight's National S'mores Day celebration. It was pouring outside, but that didn't stop us from roasting some s'mores over an open flame, complete with charcoal-style marshmallows for Max and lightly golden puffs for Evelyn. Delicious fun for a silly reason.
