We left school 180 days ago today for "a couple of weeks, possibly a bit longer." Today, we masked up, uniformed up, and headed back to the classroom. The kids were excited and nervous and ready to jump back in. The house was quiet, and Piper was definitely missing the cuddles and hugs. The kids both jumped in the car happy and excited at the end of the day. It's a long way from "normal," but it sure is nice to be back!
