Having gotten to the hotel at 1a Wednesday, we... were not fast to wake up.
When we DID get moving, we headed to the Presidio, which happens to be the home of.... LucasFilm! We dropped into the headquarters lobby to nose around.
Then we grabbed coffee and enjoyed a walk around the pretty park.
Then is was up the Lyon Street Stairs to... DF's house.
The kids were excited to meet Kirby!
And even more excited to meet DF.
MOM was excited to be gifted a drawing by the Senator.
Ian was excited to see the infamous fax machine they send documents to all the time while we sneaked around upstairs.

We were all impressed by the curving escalator at the mall we dropped into after the senator.
And got silly after dinner and dessert!
