We woke up at 5a to watch the ship sail through the Dardanelles. It was quiet and dark, and we went back to bed once we passed under the world's longest suspension bridge.
We spent the day relaxing on the ship (after we woke up again!).
My friend Kate is stationed in Istanbul with the State Department, and she recommended we have dinner at the Seven Hills Restaurant. It was the perfect place to start our trip. After an amazing dinner, we walked back to the ship, getting back to our room around 12:30a. It was a long, beautiful night.
Piper texted us mid-night to share the fun she was having.
